Step into a gripping future with Frontlines: Fuel of War, an action-packed shooter set against the backdrop of a world on the brink of collapse. It all began in summer 2008 when global oil demand skyrocketed, surpassing the production capacities of oil companies. Fast forward to 2024, and oil is nearly extinct. Alternate energy sources have failed to meet the needs of a desperate world, leading to the formation of the Red Star Alliance by Russia and China, igniting World War III against the Western Coalition (USA and Europe) in a battle for the last remaining oil reserves.

As a member of the elite Stray Dogs squad, it’s your mission to combat the Red Star Alliance and secure the precious oil. The campaign story is narrated through the eyes of Wayne Andrews, a press member assigned to accompany the Stray Dogs and document their heroic efforts. But in the chaos of war, nothing is predictable.

Your objective is to conquer key points on the map to advance the frontline. You must control at least two points to push forward while ensuring your team defends previously captured locations. Engage your enemies using slightly futuristic equipment, including exploding drones and radio-controlled tanks, along with a variety of weapons like assault rifles and rocket launchers. Various vehicles are at your disposal, from jeeps to tanks and helicopters, to help dominate the battlefield.

In single-player mode, you control a single character who can utilize whatever equipment is found on the battlefield. In multiplayer mode, choose different weapon load-outs and roles, such as Dronetech, allowing you to deploy advanced radio-controlled vehicles. Earn experience points by defeating enemies and capturing control points to level up within your role, unlocking access to more equipment. However, progress resets after each match, starting you back at Level 1 for the next round.
